.. Potter .. is it Potter??..

.. yo yo..21 July, the last of Harry Potter's books was released.. Harry Potter and the Deathly Harrows.. JR Rowling's last attempt to enchant her fan in this last installment of Harry Potter n his battle with "you know who".. hahah.. Well as a loyal supporter, I woke up at 6am on the morning of 21 July - Singapore Time - n make my presence at Kinokuniya Bookstore at Ngee Ann City minutes before the fateful release of this world phenomena ... to catch a copy of this last book, i have taken some evidence of my appearance that day at the book shop.. well the queue was not that long n no one was crying .. there was a dad with his wide awake baby in the queue and a gal who insisted she cannot miss getting her own book even though she had to limp her way to the bookshop.. the power of Harry Potter..

In front of the Kinokuniya, not too far from the front of the queue. In fact as we realised later, there is no need to queue, many books to go around. My cousin was also involved in this crazy chase of the last book...

Do we have Draco here (notice the blond hair!!)?.. my guess is as good as ur.. hahah.. ... the book itself!!!.. grab one grab one n be mesmerise by the magic of Harry's world ... don mind owning one of those brooms myself.. haha..



.. Then move forward to NDP NE show No 2 in the evening... I got some photos took previously of the platform.. Watched a documentry when I reached home in the night on how the platform was being constructed and put together by SembCorp Marine.. techonology at work here.. the company's expertise in constructing ships, oil rigs n other floating platform was put into action here .. the platform seems to be the world biggest too.. woooohhh... another reason why we should celebrate with more gust this year.. haha..

.. Anyone heard of Professor Wei Tsin Fu?.. well this guy invented this Snowball method of piano education n he taught many children to play piano pieces that are of high techinical level.. 2 key points from his theory... Firstly, children must be humble, they must be open minded to learn n parents must encourage n tell their children to not say "no" without trying.. Secondly, children must be taught to help other people because by helping other people, they use their mind more n thus becoming more intelligent.. It is always harder to solve other peoples' problem so by helping others, they become smarter.. he discovers that our brain capacity is really under utlised n his methods is teaching children how to utlise this capacity of their.. BTW, he is also a scientist.. Today, He brought his students to the SSA headquarter at Tampines for a 2 hrs mini concert.. His students are about 15 n a6 yrs old n they are playing pieces that only master can play.. It was really an enriching experience n I totally enjoyed the music.. They played master pieces from Mozart, Beethovan n also Gershwin.. then modern classic was also played.. those that have lots of clashed keys n banging.. fantastic, finally I make sense of these music n it was really worth the afternoon.. BTW, is free so is double n even triple worth it.. yah yah..

.. i want to learn piano again.. hmm.. maybe do my theory first .. but this will have to wait after NDP..
