Here pass another week!!

Is amazing how time really flies past.. dadada n is into July already.. many things happen during the last week.. not for the bad but just that i have taken up another certification course and now my week days are all packed.. the certification course is a safety assessor course recognised by MOM n will be for a total of 28 hrs over a month with 2 night of lessons each week and a final exam 2 week at the end of the course..

hmm.. then we had the 3rd combined rehearsal at the Marina Bay floating platform.. This time round, we had to performed in front of a full audience.. well we got onto the flatform in good time... n performed according to the routine we have practiced so hard for the past few months.. i guess most of us tried our best but then to the trainers, we can still be better.. BTW, my item is entitled River of Dreams... is basically depicting our ancestors descending into the this island of Singapore from all over the world in the beginning day of the island... thus the music has a mixture of Indian, Chinese and Malay element in it... the rhythm is not easy to catch but to listen to special cue at certain part, we are able to follow perform at the appropriate part of the music.. overall we can do better.. hahahah.. so watched out for National Day Parade on 9 August..

On the same day of the 3rd combined rehearsal is also the 40th anniversary of Singapore Soka Association celebration cum Youth Festival at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.. missed this though..

Today homevisited 2 of the student members .... it is always interesting to talk to young people.. they made u fill with dreams n hopes afterwards..

Well.. just finished reading this manga title called 水边战役... well in english it can easily be translated as the Water Margin... on the 108 heros of Liang Shan.. although the content of the manga does not follow the original version .. the Water Margin is considered one of the 4 greatest novels of china.. the others being Romance of the 3 Kingdoms, Dream of the Red Chamber and Journey to the West.. incidentally, China just had a competition to choose the gal that can best depicts Lin Daiyu in the Dream of the Red Chamber.. while a successor to the New Lin Daiyu was discovered, the lady that originally played the role also passed away recently.... really 一代新人换旧人 (used negatively here)... ok back to the manga story. There is noone who is really evil or good in the story.. the person who was perceived as the most evil guy did wat he did for what he believed to be the best for the country.. even in the process, he sacrificed his old comrades and friends... We cannot then judged him as wrong but the method that he used was.. in the end, the dynasty will still fall like all great dynasties in ancient china.. actually if u think about it, history really gave people pointers about how a country should be run.. anymore, no politics here.. hahah.. is kinda of bloody so if u have a phobia of blood n fighting, then this is not for you though is not as ghastly as Tekken.. BTW I bought this title for the simple reason that it will end at Vol. 5.. .. 8)...

.. Latest New, Roger Federer of Switzerland just beaten Rafael Nadal of Spain in a 3-2 games to win his fifth Wimbledon Championship.. yeah to Roger.. n that made him in equal par with another tennis legend... well it was a tough fight so we won know whether he will be back for his 6th win next year... watch out..

Till next post.. i better round off and log out.. is getting pretty late... n this weekend the whole world turns to Live Earth, live concert in 9 cities over 7 continents.. I was in green for the 2 days this weekend to support awareness of climate change n to support the 3Rs movement... conserve energy Folks!!!.. save the earth.. we are living on the borrowed earth from our grandchildren.. so ANSWER THE CALL...
