... blogging blogging.. what's not??

I say.. is really difficult coming up with a title to every post.. nearly out of idea but if i m too conventional , then the blog will not be interesting.. ultimately this blog is for me to talk nonsense.. hhah.. so like what most people will say.. to air my view.. this blog is non political so don talk politic here.. so u will be disrespecting my human right if anyone talk politic here.. yah yah..

Oh well.. from the last blog, is been about a week.. so wat had happen over the week?.. hmm.. NDP on wednesday.. chilling out with colleagues on thursday after watching Fantastic 4 and the silver surfer.. Friday is district meeting, saturday is NDP again n this is the first combined rehearsal.. the grand finale is really fanciful this year.. we have to learn a whole set of mass dance n some choreographed movement which include waving, bowing, waves etc..

On sat, on the way home from NDP while at Esplanade, saw Liang Wen Fu, the talented Singaporean composer cum lecturer.. think he just finished watching some play.. anyway, is not every time I got to see someone famous ...

Today sunday, went shopping with my sister and brother at Orchard. .. n I also bought the third set of Clamp 3D's collection.. hahah... below is the photo of the set..

Aren't there adorable?.. the next set will tentatively be out in September.. so another 3 months n there are 8 sets altogether..

... haha.. i sort of like this phase.. no day like today.. is part of the lyric of a song.. cannot remember the exact muscial which is from.. the tune keeps repeating in my head..... no day like today.... awwww...

.. attended a wedding dinner .. the groom is my uni school mate and the bride is my ex colleague.. they been together for almost 8 years before finally tying the knot.. saw some ex classmates and ex colleague .. i got the feeling that 1 of my ex classmates is avoiding me.. hmm.. i could only think of 1 reason but that happened so long ago.. anyway.. probbably will not see them again soon.. yup yup.. well if u know my in uni, u probbably know the reason.. some time, people remember the slightest thing n will not let go.. life is not eternity, we should not begrudge life with the smallest thing... i want to really go through life with no regret n to cramp whatever i can cramp into the time i have.. hahha.. sounds so ambitious.. ..

Watching this drama from China/ Taiwan .. title is 四大名捕会京师.. it about these 4 famous royal guards or what u will call police inspectors in today's term.. got adventure and got romance which is one reason why i m watching it.. yo yo .. plus it has a good ending.. yeah!

I tot i mentioned i want to do manga review.. hmm.. maybe next time but currently my favourite manga is Fruit Basket 水果篮.. heard of the 12 zodiac signs story and the cat that was betrayed by the rat.... well, the story revolves around 13 persons possessed by the spirit of the 12 signs and cat.. then there is the god who wants the 13 persons all to himself/herself and a gal who lost her parents and got to know the 13 persons.. is a story about getting to know oneself, and searching for meaning in life.. finally the curse of being possessed from the signs are lifted and they each embarks onto their new life... total of 23 volumes .. a well worth investment..

.. think this is the first post of the month.. hahah... why?.. been really busy mugging exams.. 5 papers.. n finally all ended yesterday.. so now i can take a break n keep my fingers really crossed for a reasonable result!!.... well been taking quite some time already so i hope i can finally move on n do something else... actually while i was preparing the papers, i wondered why i m torturing myself with another major exam.. i don need another degree.. anyway, the ego in me instigated the attempt so i have to accomplish it some how..

alright must be wondering why the title to the post??.. environmental?.. hmm.. been reading this article from the April issue of the National Geographic Magazine on fishing.. the depletion of the world fishing sources is posing a problem for the oceanic ecosystem as well as the livelihood of subsistence fisheries.... well.. this is due to commercialised overfishing using big vessels n new fishing technology.. also lead to indiscriminate fishing.. as in what are caught may not be the catch n the wasted catch are dumped back into the water.. hmm.. well one of the articles are on the really big bluefin tuna.. these tuna are able to grow up to 12 feets but their numbers are decreasing due to the fishing for markets in Japan, USA etc.. these tuna are priced for their fatty meat at the stomach which are the best sushi..

.. well not a fan of tuna sushi.. but overfishing also reminded me of shark n shark fins.. well the demand of shark fins and the profit from shark fins killed shark n mainly the fins are retrieved n the rest of the sharks are just dumped back into the water.. n even juvenile sharks are not let off.. so if u kill off all the small sharks now, who are going to grow up n give birth to other sharks.. n bearing in mind that shark undergoes a period of gestation before they give birth to small shark.. so is a vicious cycle.. so stop eating shark fins.. but human beings don think about the future, they only enjoy what is present now...well there are many people who don believe in not eating shark fins n they even go all the way to Thailand to have cheap small shark's fin.. people just don buy the fact about such dietary habits are endangering the sharks.. I used to like them so much n will go all the way to go eat them but after learning of the dire consequences of such practice, I have decided not to be a perpetuator of such practice.. however, still get to eat it at wedding dinner.. is a dilemma actually.. besides sharks, whales are the other marine animals that were heavily sought after for their blubber in the last century n now for Scientific research... before i go on and on.. think i just stopped here..

.. hmm... sale at Kino this month.. so been enjoying lots of book retail therapy!!.. hohoho... let me post my 2 favourite characters from Full Metal Panic.. Chidori and Sousuke, a very interesting couple .. the gal is very smart n is supposed to be a whisperer which means she has information of future high technology in her body and the guy is a very nerdy trained soldier who is posted to be her personal guard.. so both of them from different backgrounds created lots of conflicts and adventures together....the story is still continuing though.. too bad i cannot read Japanese so have to wait for the chinese translation from Taiwan kadokawa..

well.. that's all for this post.. will think of more to say next time.. maybe do some manga review.. haha..
